Life has been crazy around here but I finally got around to blogging about our Turks and Caicos trip…thanks to a sick Saturday spent on the couch. Every picture I look at makes me want to go back so it’s probably a good thing it has taken me this long…I’m definitely ready for summer.
We were invited to go on this trip by Trent’s sister and brother-in-law and boy are we glad that we said yes. It was AMAZING! The water was perfect, the weather was perfect, everything about this place is prefect. I don’t know if it was the time of year we went but there were very little bugs and I think I saw one mosquito. The food was amazing and I could definitely live the island life.

Dean and Colby who invited us on the blessed trip!

Goodness I love this boy.
We spent most of our time surfing with Wake to Wake and it was a blast. Working with Nat and Mark was amazing and we would definitely go back just to hang out with them. They offer prime wake surfing along with all other boating accommodations and sometimes their dolphin friend will tag along! You can wakeboard, ski, tube or simply have them take you to different islands near Turks and Caicos. Nat and Mark are both great teachers and they make you feel like family. If you are ever in Turks and Caicos, a day with Wake to Wake is definitely a must!
Trent’s brother-in-law, Colby, has a company called Brigade Wakesurfing who specialize in state of the art surf boards. Wake to wake works with Brigade to give surfers the best quality of boards. It was so much fun to ride their different boards and try all of them out! The company also brought two pro surfers, Jake Caster and Cole Sorensen, to surf the boards. They were amazing! It was incredible to see the different tricks they could do on a surfboard and how easy they made it look. We were all so impressed!
Even us amateurs had some serious fun! Trent’s sister, Dean, is getting REALLY good! I was trying to learn from her! Surfing is such a fun thing to do while boating. Not a lot of high stress because you’re not going too fast but you can still do lots of neat tricks and moves.
I’m definitely still an newbie when it comes to surfing but Trent and I accomplished a major trick on this trip. We were pretty darn proud of ourselves 😉
On the trip, we visited smaller islands, jumped off a shipwreck, night surfed and did so many other amazing things. It felt so good to relax on a boat, soak up some rays and recuperate from this crazy thing called life. It was truly an unforgettable trip and I can’t wait to go back!

My favorite suit from the trip. Gotta love Ablion Fit
Until next time!
